Talcum Powder Lawsuit

• Since 1971, more than 20 studies have linked talcum powder to ovarian cancer. In 2003, an analysis of 16 of these studies found that women using this powder were 33% more likely to develop ovarian cancer.
• Thousands of people who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and mesothelioma have filed lawsuits against companies who use talc in products. Talc appears in many products like feminine hygiene products, make up, lotions, deodorants, and more.
• There have been several settlements and verdicts against Johnson & Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive, and other manufacturers for cases involving ovarian cancer and mesothelioma.
