Depo-Prevera and Depo-SubQ Provera 104, which are manufactured by Pfizer, are contraceptive injections administered every 3 months, formulated with synthetic progestin to suppress ovulation.

This injection can increase the risk of intracranial meningiomas, tumors that grow in the brain and spinal cord.
